About MPN Base

MPN Base is an independent, source-cited reference database for industrial component model numbers — starting with bearings. We are not a manufacturer, not an authorized distributor of any brand, and do not resell OEM catalog content.

What we publish

• One page per model number with dimensions, load ratings, speed limits and material codes.
• Cross-brand interchange tables where every match is graded full, partial, or verify.
• Naming-rule explanations and selection guidance written for maintenance and procurement work.

How the data is verified

Parameters are extracted from publicly distributed manufacturer catalogs through two independent extraction paths, then checked against physical plausibility rules (bore codes, load/speed ranges, unit conversions, cross-reference symmetry). Every published parameter carries a citation to its source catalog and version. Conflicting or low-confidence rows are held out of publication and reviewed manually. How sourcing works

When you request a quote, we source through independent suppliers and return a first response within 24 hours, usually with an original-brand and an equivalent option. Brand names are used only to identify compatibility; they remain the property of their respective owners.
